AI transparency

AI tools are part of how this manual is produced. This page sets out where they are used, what stays under human control, and who is responsible for the result.

Where AI is used

• Drafting and editing — first drafts of pages, restructuring, and consistency passes across chapters.
• Translation — every language other than English is machine-translated from the English source.
• Maintenance — finding gaps, outdated screenshots, and pages that fall out of sync when a product changes.

What does not come from AI

Measured values, specifications, tolerances, and references to standards come from Rhopoint test data, product specifications, and the published standards themselves. Instrument behaviour, software workflows, and screenshots describe the products as they actually ship.

Human review and responsibility

Every page is reviewed by Rhopoint Instruments before publication. Rhopoint Instruments holds editorial responsibility for all content in this manual. AI assistance does not change who is accountable for what this manual says.

The English version is authoritative

Translations are machine-produced and reviewed. Where a translation and the English source disagree, the English version applies. This matters most for specifications, tolerances, and safety-relevant instructions.

Regulatory context

This page is published in the spirit of the transparency provisions of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), which applies from 2 August 2026. It is a voluntary disclosure: technical product documentation that is reviewed by an identified publisher is not subject to the labelling obligation in Article 50. Rhopoint Instruments discloses the use of AI anyway, because readers should know how the documentation they rely on is produced.
